The trick is simple--always eat them first before meals. And the desserts I'm talking about are:
- Water melons
- Spanish or Chinese melons
- Mangoes
- Bananas and oranges
- Papaya
- Pineapple
- Mangosteen
The above are all summer tropical fruits that sell somewhat cheaper in summer. The mangoes I often just pick form our backyard--native mangoes or popularly called "Indian mangoes." Eat a lot of these desserts about 30 minutes before meals. And I love especially water melons.
How do they make you slimmer? They make you full before you take your meals. Imagine eating lots of slices of water melons--the carbo and water contents (it's rich in Vitamin C as well which is good for fat burning and losing weight). And they are rich in dietary fibers as an added bonus! You fill full and you get lots of weight loss benefits, too.
I love to refrigerate the above desserts before eating them. This way, I eat lots more of them before meals. You may want to mix them in a bowl and use slightly overripe papaya as sauce instead of cream. If served cold, they're perfect for afternoon snacks while watching TV or watching kids play in the streets or at the park.
