Why You Should Eat Everything. Don't Choose.

Eat everything. And I mean every natural food God designed for human consumption. If the doctor tells you to conform to a strict diet, it's because you became choosy with your food before. Often, people choose only spicy and fatty or meaty foods so they end up sick and needing to stick to a strict diet. Their choosy diet made them lack antioxidant protection. If your doctor limits your food to a particular type, obey him. But if you're not yet sick, eat every natural food your hands can grab--and especially if you want to lose weight or maintain good weight. Losing weight is not through strict diets. And the important thing with losing weight is keeping your good health intact. I've heard of people losing weight using the keto diet but later on getting seriously sick with all the meats and pork they stuffed themselves with during the diet period.

One lady I know had a serious colon problem after keto. Doctors were not sure if they could connect the colon problem with her keto diet, but it's known in the medical field how too much meat and pork (no dietary fibers) can seriously upset the digestive system and lead to serious intestinal problems. But the good news is, you can lose weight and still eat what you like.

But if you want to stick with your keto diet (or want to try it) you should at least get a good natural supplement that effectively protects your body and immune system. Proflavanol is a powerful antioxidant and natural Vitamin C source derived from natural grape-seed extracts and USANA's Poly C blend for prolonged Vitamin C protection. Yep, it's all natural and made safe and effective by USANA. Besides, it helps maintain healthy levels of cholesterol, boosts circulatory and cardiovascular health. Click here for more info.

What we don't want is going on a strict diet and not getting the essential micro-nutrients our bodies need, and then weakening your immune system and easily getting attacked by deadly diseases. Yup, you lost some weight but you also lost a lot more than that.

So I always believe in eating enough of everything. When I say "enough" it means eating more vegetables and fruits than fish, meat and pork. A balanced diet of everything. When you're used to this, you can forget about dieting because it will be an automatic thing for you. The site FamilyDoctor.Org said in one of its articles:
You should choose a diet made up of nutrient-rich foods. Try to eat a variety of foods to get different vitamins and minerals. Foods that naturally are nutrient-rich include fruits and vegetables. Lean meats, fish, whole grains, dairy, legumes, nuts, and seeds also are high in nutrients.
If you eat everything your weight is naturally maintained (be sure to couple this with workouts). You get enough of everything. But what I forbid are processed foods, refined (white) sugar and refined flour. Stay away from white bread and caked and pastries. These things are not natural food...well, okay, sometimes you find yourself with no choice but eat them. You may cheat in times like this, but don't make it a lifestyle. And detox your system right after. I often take apple cider vinegar for detox. Drinking a cup of turmeric and ginger is also a regular for me.

And stay away from synthetic juices, teas, energy drinks, sweeteners and vitamins and minerals, too. What artificial juices do is destroy your stomach first. It gets too acidic and then you have GERD.

With local salads, I notice people barely touching sweet potato leaves (talbos ng kamote). Being choosy like that forfeits you of a powerful but effective weight loss veggie which also improves digestion. Eat lots of sweet potato sprouts. So I say, eat everything. Don't choose.
